Hi, I'm Zach Havens, LPCC

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio, Vermont, and South Carolina passionate about helping individuals move towards personal growth, stress reduction, and lasting healing. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I'm here to empower you to navigate life's challenges with greater awareness, resilience, and joy. Drawing from a variety of treatment environments, I offer personalized therapy services directed to meet your specific needs. I appreciate and encourages the brain-body connection and movement to invoke additional thought and understanding of resilience while in and out treatment, and offers services virtually, or in-person.

All while learning to manage stress, build confidence, and maintain focus under pressure. We’ll empower you to achieve peak performance and create a balanced mindset to meet your individual needs!

  • CBT is a proven, effective approach to mental health that helps you tackle anxiety, depression, and stress. CBT focuses on changing negative thought patterns and behaviors, empowering you to develop healthier ways of thinking and living. With personalized strategies and practical tools, CBT can help you take control of your mental well-being and lead a more fulfilling life.

  • EMDR is a specialized approach to trauma recovery and mental wellness. We utilize EMDR to address a variety of issues, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, phobias, and grief. Through targeted processing of distressing memories, EMDR helps you reclaim your life, and foster resilience and lasting change.

  • ACT is a powerful approach that helps you embrace your thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them. By focusing on what truly matters to you, ACT teaches you to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

I understand that the process of finding a therapist who "gets you" can be a challenging, anxiety provoking, experience for many of us, especially when you have the weight of stress and other aspects of life which are creating the desire to seek out therapy. In an attempt to offset this anxiety, I offer a free, semi-informal, consultation call to allow you to understand me as a human and therapist to make sure that we are a good fit for each other in treatment.

I believe in creating an open, caring, and inclusive environment. I work collaboratively with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets your unique needs and goals

On a personal Note…

I enjoy what I do, however, I enjoy being a loving husband and father even more. When I am not working, you can typically find me spending time with his family and dogs outside, being active, or in the off chance I have some spare time, playing some video games. I enjoy learning new things in all aspects of my life, and I believe humor can be a huge asset in creating lasting relationships
